About Germet
Germet Compañía Metalmecánica was built serving the hardest customers in Colombian manufacturing: plastics processors and flexible packaging plants, where a damaged mold or a worn sealing die stops a production line that runs around the clock. That work taught us the discipline that now defines the shop — quote fast, hold the tolerance, deliver when promised, document everything.
Before founding the company's current operation, our lead engineer spent five years as a project engineer in California manufacturing. That experience shaped how we work with US clients: drawings read in imperial or metric, communication in direct technical English, quotes structured the way American purchasing departments expect them.
In 2026 we commissioned a new Haas VF-2 vertical machining center — the same machine running in thousands of American shops — specifically to serve US overflow work and direct clients at the quality level that market demands.
We're not trying to be everything to everyone. These are the three clients we serve exceptionally well.
Your schedule is full and the repairs, one-offs and short runs are clogging your spindles. Send them to us — we quote in 24 hours, you keep your customer, we both make margin.
Molds, dies, blades, columns, bushings. We've spent two decades keeping this exact equipment running in Colombia's toughest plants. Yours is no different.
The OEM discontinued it, the lead time is 12 weeks, or the drawing never existed. Send us the broken part — we'll measure it, model it and remake it.
No sales layer, no ticket system. Email, WhatsApp or the RFQ form — a technical answer comes back the same business day.
